Crane Philip was founded in New York in 2021 as an independent firm, but its foundation goes back over a decade.
Our founder began her career in 2010 at International Property Developers (IPD), working in the private sector to structure deals with investors and family offices while building a portfolio across real estate, commodities, and emerging market opportunities. Through this work she cultivated a global investor network that today anchors Crane Philip’s strength in financing and capital mobilization.
By 2021, she leveraged that network to launch Crane Philip, expanding beyond private dealmaking into sovereign advisory, trade, and investment. What began with a focus on industries such as tourism, trade, and technology has quickly grown into a global platform with a proven track record in commodities, infrastructure, renewables, and venture capital.
Today, Crane Philip operates through three integrated arms: Crane Philip Limited (CPL), Crane Philip Advisory (CPA), and Crane Philip Capital (CPC); connecting sovereigns, corporates, and investors across frontier and emerging markets.
Financing & Capital Mobilization: Structuring cross-border financing by channeling Western institutional investors, private equity, and family offices into high-impact projects across Africa, the Caribbean, and other frontier markets.
Energy & Renewables: Supporting clean energy transitions by financing solar, wind, and other renewable infrastructure projects that expand access and resilience.
Infrastructure & Sovereign Advisory: Advising governments on fiscal frameworks, PPPs, and investor engagement, while structuring financing for transport, logistics, and digital infrastructure.
Commodity Trade: Facilitating transparent, large-scale commodity flows including gold, copper, tin, lithium, oil & gas, and agriculture. Our role extends from structuring trade finance to ensuring efficient cross-border delivery.
Hospitality & Tourism: Financing and supporting developments that attract foreign exchange, generate jobs, and integrate local value chains into the global tourism market.
Innovation & Technology: Through CPC, investing in high-growth startups advancing fintech, agritech, and healthtech, helping them scale through both capital and strategic global networks.
Crane Philip’s presence reflects our role as a bridge between global capital and frontier opportunities.
With a headquarters in New York and strategically placed regional offices, we are positioned to serve both investors in established markets and partners in high-growth economies.
New York: Global headquarters, anchoring investor relations and sovereign advisory.
London: Gateway to European institutions and capital markets.
Abuja & Accra: West African hubs for sovereign engagement, commodity trade, and project development.
Dubai & Abu Dhabi: Anchors in the Middle East, facilitating oil & gas trading, sovereign partnerships, and Gulf investment flows.
Hong Kong: Asia hub, connecting investors, trade finance structures, and commodity flows across the region.
From these offices, Crane Philip maintains an active presence across Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Europe, South America, and Asia, ensuring our partners are supported wherever opportunities arise.
From private sector dealmaking at IPD to the launch of Crane Philip, our journey has always been about building bridges between capital and opportunity. With three integrated divisions, CPL, CPA, and CPC, we are redefining how capital flows into frontier and emerging markets, empowering vision, driving innovation, and delivering lasting impact.
